CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
This table-base is made of solid MINDI wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
Mindi is an expensive type of wood in the market. It is mostly used in projects where you need maximum strength and durability. This wood is known for its amazing strength, durability, and resistance to degradation. That’s why it is always a favorite choice of carpenters and builders. Mindi wood is also known as chinaberry, faux, cedarwood, sycamore, marindi wood, geringging, and white cedar. The main origin of Mindi wood is Holland. It was first found and grown in Holland. Then, the Dutch merchants and travelers brought the Mindi wood to Indonesia. Today, Mindi wood is found in different parts of the world including India, Asia, and North America. The outer layer of Mindi wood (sapwood) has a yellowish-white color. Whereas, the inner layer of Mindi wood (hardwood) has a reddish color which eventually turns into reddish-brown after some time and exposure to light.

MAINTENANCE:
The fact that MINDI is included in hardwoods makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary, a cleaning with a damp cloth.
