The seat and backrest of the chair are upholstered in PU leather. This is also known as faux leather or synthetic leather and has the texture of linen fabric. Synthetic leather is the evolution of leatherette but with its main characteristic being, that it is not easily distinguished from real leather. The composition of PU leather is basically polyurethane and polyamide micro-fibers in contrast to leatherette which basically contains PVC.
The arms are metallic and withstand enormous weight and show great resistance to any kind of strain.
The base and suspension are metallic with weight resistance up to 120 kg.
The caster wheels are made of polyethylene with a soft polyurethane surface for quiet rolling and floor protection, while the connecting pins to the base are reinforced steel for excellent weight resistance.
MAINTENANCE:
The chair does not need special maintenance because the PU leather does not wear easily, does not "wrinkle", and the color is not affected by sunlight. A good sweep with a soft damp cloth is enough. If there is a stain that does not come out with a wet cloth, then only a mild detergent with a neutral effect can be used.
The other parts of the chair, as well as the metal parts, are incredibly durable and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Caster wheels should be cleaned of any hair that accumulates on the roller shafts to avoid any difficulty in rolling.
It is recommended to avoid using strong bleaches on any part of the chair.
